Marketing Design Lead
Our client Ask Jeeves (Now Ask.com) wanted to do a very targeted business to business marketing campaign to draw in more high-level corporate clients and were willing to spend money to do so.
We needed to do something unusual yet classy to draw attention and get a decent response.
After a series of brainstorming sessions (and a handful of brand-new innovative, duplex paper samples) my Content director, and I came up with a direct marketing package design simulating a murder mystery card game.
This allowed us to integrating client's brand in a fun and engaging way and be extra creative with specialty papers and metallic inks.
Not only did we deliver a fun and creative marketing piece that was received well, it had an amazing 10% response rate (most B to B direct marketing was around 1% at the time).
